Liza Minnelli obtained a standing ovation as she shocked celebrities and followers alike on the 94th Annual Academy Awards on March 27 on the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The 76-year-old Cabaret star took to the stage alongside Woman Gaga to current the Academy Award for Greatest Image.
“You see that? The general public, they love you,” the “Shallow” singer, 36, lovingly teased Liza, who sat in a wheelchair and is thought to have struggled with a number of sicknesses all through the years, together with viral encephalitis. As Liza had hassle saying the nominees, Gaga was sweetly by her facet, gently reassuring her, “I acquired you.”

After a brief clip highlighted the Greatest Image Oscar nominees, the digicam panned again to the women who have been all smiles for the A-list affair. “Hello all people! I’m so completely happy to be right here, particularly with you. I’m your largest fan,” Liza gushed over the Home of Gucci star. “Are you excited to announce Greatest Image?” Gaga responded to which Liza replied, “Sure.” The A Star Is Born actress continued, “OK, the Oscar goes to…,” as Liza revealed, “CODA.”
Liza and Gaga have been dressed to impress whereas taking middle stage at Hollywood’s star-studded ceremony. The pair coordinated ensembles in all black monochrome numbers. The “Poker Face” hitmaker appeared fashionable in a flashy tuxedo swimsuit as Liza wore an opulent black matching two-piece set. Gaga oozed outdated Hollywood glamour as she swept her signature platinum blonde locks up in an elegant ‘do.
