A employees member has been stabbed after he confronted a person and girl who stole a designer purse from a division retailer in Melbourne's CBD.
Police say the person obtained critical accidents from the assault at David Jones on Little Bourke Road about 12pm.
The male thief stabbed the employees member within the arm earlier than he fled the scene with the girl.
