The daddy of the truck driver charged over the horror Victorian college bus crash that has left youngsters with life-changing accidents has stated his son and entire household are devastated.
Truck driver, Jamie Gleeson, 49, from Balliang East, was yesterday charged with 4 counts of harmful driving inflicting critical damage over the crash at Eynesbury.
His father, Robert Gleeson, who has been a part of the Bacchus Marsh group for 46 years, has this morning instructed media he and his household really feel "very, very unhappy for the households of the kids".
"There's nothing worse than when an accident occurs and youngsters are concerned," he stated.
"We simply really feel so unhappy for them. We simply hope they get better healthily and so they're capable of go on.
"Jamie is simply completely upset as effectively."
When requested how his son was, the elder Gleeson stated "not superb".
"He is a reasonably smooth younger fella really, and he cares lots about folks," he stated.
"He is fairly shattered."

Police have alleged Jamie Gleeson was driving dangerously when the crash occurred close to the intersection of Exford Street and Murphys Street at Eynesbury at about 3.40pm on Tuesday.
