A brand new King has been topped, in a ceremony a prime Australian soldier dubbed "surreal".
Brigadier Grant Mason, head of ADF employees within the UK, was amongst 40 Australian troops who took half within the processions as Charles III was topped.
He in contrast the historic occasion to the spirit of wartime.
"I mentioned to numerous folks that it nearly had that really feel of 1944 preparing with simply the large troops to go and do one thing actually, actually epic," he shared.
