Official Coronation portraits an 'insight into personality of King and role of key royal'

The primary official Coronation portraits and photographs give delicate insights into the character of King Charles - and which members of the Royal household can have key roles in his slimmed-down monarchy - say consultants.

Buckingham Palace launched the primary set of official photographs from the Coronation yesterday (Monday, Could 8). And consultants have been fast to glean hidden meanings from the choice.

They included a placing new solo portrait of our newly-crowned King. And a luxurious group shot of key royals in full regalia.

Of the King's portrait, royal professional Richard Fitzwilliams stated: "This one is a robust forceful portrait of a monarch who is aware of his personal thoughts and may be very skilled."

And he famous that Queen Camilla appeared "extra relaxed and cozy" sporting the crown in her solo portrait than she did in the course of the coronation at Westminster Abbey.

Concerning the group portrait, Mr Fitzwilliam stated the proximity of Princess Anne to the King within the group portrait "is not any accident". The Princess Royal - extensively acknowledged as being one the hardest-working Royals - is predicted to be the King's right-hand girl.
