Bambi: The Reckoning, from the producers of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey(which grossed greater than $6 million globally after going viral), has offered to a variety of worldwide territories, with hopes that it could actually obtain the same success to their first microbudget slasher sensation. The plot is about to contain a mutated killer deer within the vein of Cujo.
Premiere Leisure has licensed rights involving theatrical elements to the creature function in Mexico and Latin America (Cinemex), Germany and Italy (Plaion), France (Crome Movies), Benelux (Film Firm), Scandinavia (Njuta Movies), Russia/CIS (Voxell Movies), Australia and New Zealand (Umbrella), Japan (Hark), Taiwan (AV-Jet), Center East (Eagle Movies), Turkey (BG Movie), Pakistan (Cine Leisure), India and airways (PictureWorks).
Bambi: The Reckoning relies on the title character created by Felix Salten in his 1923 coming-of-age novel Bambi, a Life within the Woods, which has now entered the general public area. Scott Jeffrey is directing and producing with Rhys Frake-Waterfield for Jagged Edge Productions, whereas Stuart Alson and Nicole Holland function government producers for ITN Studios.
ITN will deal with distribution in North America, with principal images scheduled for the summer time.
