A US man has been attacked by an alligator after opening his entrance door.
Law enforcement officials in Daytona Seaside in Florida responded to a house on Saturday night time after being notified about an alligator assault.
Police say the resident opened his entrance door after listening to a noise that he thought was somebody in search of his son.
