Wildlife rangers are investigating after a saltwater crocodile was faraway from its lure and beheaded in Darwin.

The Northern Territory's Parks and Wildlife division has warned these accountable may face heavy fines or jail for his or her actions.
Authorities stated the animal was maimed after it was faraway from an underwater lure at Howard Springs.
It's believed the incident occurred at about 4.30pm on Sunday.
The division's chief wildlife officer Peter Ross stated not solely is it unlawful to intervene with a crocodile, "this can be very harmful".
"The crocodile administration group obtained a report of a useless crocodile on the aspect of the street and had been shocked at what they discovered," Ross stated.
"The lure has been dragged out of the water, the crocodile eliminated, then dragged behind a car and beheaded in some unspecified time in the future."
These accountable may face a most penalty of 5 years in jail or $81,000.
