Motorcyclist escapes serious injury after being smashed on head with shovel

A motorcyclist has escaped critical harm after he was smashed on the pinnacle with a shovel in New South Wales.
Video filmed within the city of Leeton at about 11pm on Sunday reveals the teenager standing over a bike with a helmet on, when a person runs from behind and hits him on the pinnacle with the backyard instrument, inflicting him to fall over.
NSW Police mentioned a person had been charged with critical assault of the teenager.

"Police have been instructed an 18-year-old man was using an allegedly unregistered bike by way of the township of Leeton," NSW Police mentioned in a press release.
The rider was adopted by motorists earlier than he hit a automotive on Wamoon Avenue.
"The rider was sporting a helmet and was not significantly injured," NSW Police mentioned.
A 42-year-old man was charged with widespread assault.
The person was granted bail and can face courtroom later this month.
