The Drifters singer Charlie Thomas has died on the age of 85, his pal Peter Lemongello Jr has confirmed. The music legend was beforehand inducted into the rock and roll corridor of fame and leaves behind a long-lasting music legacy.

The musician died at his house in Bowie, Maryland, on January 31, Peter said.
