A girl has been freed after her arm turned caught in a drain when she was reaching for a misplaced object within the Australian Capital Territory.
9News understands a toddler dropped an merchandise down the drain and the girl was making an attempt to retrieve it.
It is understood her hand turned wedged within the drain whereas she was reaching for the merchandise.
Emergency companies started digging across the exterior of her house to entry the drain in an effort to free the girl.
ACT Fireplace and Rescue commander Mitch Brennan stated they have been known as to Ivory St in Crace at about 3pm.
"Along side ACT Ambulance service, the casualty was launched from the drain and transferred to Calvary Hospital," Brennan stated.
"We have been establishing for a attainable dig on the skin of the home to entry the drain, which wasn't required ultimately."
The lady was handled for minor accidents.
