KENTWOOD, La. (WAFB/Grey Information) - A faculty cafeteria employee in Louisiana is accused of promoting meals containing marijuana.
WAFB reviews 45-year-old Tymetrica Cohns, a short lived cafeteria employee at Jewel M. Sumner Excessive College, was arrested on Friday for reportedly promoting do-it-yourself baked items laced with marijuana.
Authorities in Tangipahoa Parish stated they have been notified by way of a Crime Stoppers app that a cafeteria employee was allegedly promoting do-it-yourself edibles.
“I wish to commend this pupil who noticed one thing and used the app to deliver this menace to the eye of our faculty officers and legislation enforcement,” stated Tangipahoa Parish College Superintendent Melissa Stilley.
In accordance with Stilley, Cohns was a substitute employee employed by a staffing service that locations fill-in staff inside faculties.
“The protection of our college students is of the utmost significance to our faculty system,” Stilley stated.
