CENTENNIAL, Colo. (KCNC) - Authorities in Colorado say a person was hospitalized after he ate rat poison in his to-go order from Taco Bell.
The Taco Bell restaurant on Smoky Hill Street and Buckley in Aurora, Colorado, is now the main focus of an Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Workplace investigation.
Sheriff’s spokesman Deputy John Bartmann says a buyer, who the workplace shouldn't be naming, purchased burritos on the restaurant Sunday afternoon. Whereas there, he argued with workers as a result of the restaurant’s drink station wasn’t working.
Hours later, the person referred to as 911 after he ate the meals and “turned violently ailing,” Bartmann says. He was then hospitalized.
