New measures announced to curb attacks on Queensland bus drivers

Tens of millions of dollars shall be invested into new security measures to curb violent assaults on Queensland bus drivers.
Transport minister Mark Bailey introduced funding for protecting boundaries for drivers on high-risk routes throughout the bus community, as a part of a $65 million five-year bundle.
There may even be a higher police presence on buses with anti-social behaviour.

Twenty-nine new senior community officers shall be rolled out throughout the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Logan.
