Microsoft reports outage for Teams, Outlook, other services

LONDON (AP) - Microsoft mentioned it’s investigating issues with its on-line companies together with its Groups messaging platform and Outlook e mail system after customers all over the world reported outages Wednesday.

In a standing replace, the tech firm reported “service degradation” for numerous its Microsoft 365 companies.

1000's of customers reported issues with Groups, Outlook, the Azure cloud computing service and XBox Reside on-line gaming service early Wednesday on the Downdetector web site, which tracks outage reviews. By later within the morning, it confirmed the variety of reviews had dropped significantly.

Many customers took to social media to complain that the companies have been down.

“We’ve remoted the issue to a networking configuration challenge, and we're analyzing the very best mitigation technique to handle it with out inflicting further influence,” the Microsoft 365 Standing Twitter account mentioned.

It later tweeted that a community change that was suspected to be inflicting the issue was rolled again and that it’s monitoring because the rollback takes impact.

A day earlier, Microsoft reported that its quarterly revenue fell 12%, reflecting financial uncertainty that the corporate mentioned led to its resolution this month to chop 10,000 employees.
