Kidnapping suspects from Minnesota arrested in Lexington after standoff

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Two kidnapping suspects from Minnesota have been arrested in Lexington after a standoff with police.

Lexington police responded to the 300 block of Tangley Method close to the Summit at Fritz Farm round 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. After a number of hours of negotiations, police say the suspects surrendered peacefully simply after 11:00 p.m.

Town's emergency response crew was on the scene, in line with police. Each suspects, a person and a lady, had been taken into custody.

A toddler, who police say was the kidnapping sufferer, will probably be taken in by social companies. Police haven't launched the names of the suspects. They've additionally not confirmed the suspects' relationship with one another or the kid.

The suspects face felony kidnapping fees in Minnesota. Police say they won't face any fees domestically.
