Over the weekend, officers focused riders on Lake Eppalock, a well-liked hotspot exterior of Melbourne.
A 24-year-old Melton man was amongst these charged, after being caught and not using a licence whereas working a jet ski on the waterway.
Water Police Appearing Sergeant Kristie Clappison mentioned police are involved in regards to the harmful behaviour of some people.
"Individuals suppose jet skis are toys," she advised 9News.
"Individuals do not realise how highly effective and heavy jetskis are and what kind of harm they will do.
"(Individuals) flick others with water, experience too shut and generally these jet skis turn out to be uncontrollable."
The incident at Mornington Peninsula, which was captured on video by a passenger, allegedly concerned the teenager intentionally spraying the occupants of the boat with water earlier than rushing off.
Appearing Sergeant Clappison mentioned any unlawful behaviour wouldn't be tolerated.
