Hundreds of Aussies stranded overnight in closed Japanese airport during snow storm

Hundreds of Jetstar passengers had been stranded for 18 hours in a Japanese airport with no beds and hardly any meals as temperatures outdoors dropped to 2 levels under zero.
A number of the 250 travellers caught inside an airport terminal in Osaka, Japan, after heavy snow blocked the bridge connecting the mainland to the airport stated they had been left at the hours of darkness with no details about the delay.
The flight was meant to depart for Cairns at 9pm final night time however Passengers stated the boarding time stored getting pushed again till they had been ultimately acquired caught in a single day, ready for 18 hours.

"It reached 2.20 and we had been like what is going on on we need to board our airplane," traveller Jack Eather stated.
"We had been simply confused, individuals need to know what is going on on and had been offended as a result of we had nowhere to go."
The airport closed whereas the Aussies waited to board the airplane, leaving passengers to sleep on the ground because the heating was turned off.
"No meals or something open — we requested for meals they stated no, the heating was off so it was freezing, it was snowing outdoors," Eather stated.

After the eighth hour of the delay, muesli bars and blankets had been handed out to the group of Cairns-bound Aussies. 
A spokesperson for Jetstar stated "as a result of heavy snowfall ... our crew could not attain the airport which meant prospects already there could not go away".
Passengers boarded the airplane this afternoon and had been anticipated to land in Cairns tonight.
