‘Great sadness’: Police K-9 dies unexpectedly

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT/Grey Information) - A police division in Virginia introduced considered one of its police canines has died.

The Chesterfield Police Division mentioned its workforce is mourning the lack of their Ok-9 Kona after she died unexpectedly Friday morning.

“It's with nice disappointment that we share the lack of a terrific and devoted servant to Chesterfield County,” Chesterfield police shared in a social media put up.

The division mentioned Kona served Chesterfield County for almost 9 years and made numerous contributions to the security of the group.

“Please hold Kona, her Ok-9 handler and household, in addition to the entire different Ok-9 groups in your ideas,” Chesterfield police shared.

Police didn't instantly launch a reason behind loss of life for Kona.
