Officers say a pilot and one passenger have been on the single-engine airplane.
The flight was heading from John F. Kennedy Worldwide Airport to a regional airport exterior of Cleveland, Ohio.
Air visitors management misplaced reference to the airplane round 5:30 p.m. on Thursday when the pilot reported engine hassle, officers mentioned.
