Three men charged after pitch invasion at Melbourne A-League match

Three males have been charged after a mass pitch invasion on the A-League's Melbourne derby on the weekend.
About 150 followers stormed AAMI park on Saturday night time, based on Victoria Police, and Melbourne Metropolis's goalkeeper was hit within the head with a bucket of sand.
Right now, three males handed themselves into authorities they usually have been charged with assault and property injury offences.

A 23-year-old from Craigieburn was charged in relation to the alleged assault of goalkeeper Thomas Glover - who was left with a gash on his head that wanted stitches and a concussion after the pitch invasion.
He was charged with violent dysfunction, discharge missile, intent to trigger harm, recklessly trigger harm, illegal assault, entry to sporting competitors house, disrupting a match, public nuisance and riotous behaviour.
A second man, aged 19, is accused of a separate alleged assault on the goalkeeper, in addition to an alleged assault on a safety guard.
The Meadow Heights man was charged with with violent dysfunction, discharge missile, three counts of illegal assault, entry to competitors house, disrupting a match, public nuisance, riotous behaviour, discharge and possess flare.
A 3rd man, from Alphington, can also be accused of assaulting the goalie, and damaging property on the stadium.
The 18-year-old is charged with violent dysfunction, prison injury, illegal assault, entry to competitors house, disrupting a match, public nuisance and riotous behaviour.
All three accused males had been granted bail and can seem at Melbourne Magistrates' Court docket on February 27.
