The Republican confronted Democrat challenger Geoff Younger within the sixth congressional district race, which incorporates Lexington.
The race was particularly distinctive as a result of the Kentucky Democratic Get together didn't help Younger, and neither did Gov. Andy Beshear. Some Democrats have inspired folks to vote for write-in candidate Randy Cravens as a substitute.
