Properties have been evacuated and buyers have been blocked from their vehicles for hours on Christmas Eve after a bomb scare at a Melbourne procuring centre automobile park.

The bomb squad was referred to as to a carpark at Cranbourne Park Purchasing Centre about 11.50am after a suspected explosive machine and a gun had been discovered inside a automobile.

A consumer noticed a person slumped over a steering wheel of the automobile, then noticed the gun on the passenger seat once they went over to verify on the person.
