A rock fisherman has died after being pulled from the water at Narrabeen on Sydney's northern seashores this morning.
Police and paramedics had been known as to the scene at Turimetta Headland at round 11am after the person was reported to have fallen into the water.
The person – who was carrying a life vest – was winched from the water by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and flown to Rat Park in Warriewood.
NSW Ambulance paramedics carried out CPR however the man couldn't be revived and died on the scene.
The fisherman, believed to be aged in his 70s, is but to be formally recognized.
Officers hooked up to the Northern Seashores Police Space Command additionally attended and can now put together a report for the data of the Coroner.
