Fisherman dies after being swept off rocks on Sydney's northern beaches

A rock fisherman has died after being pulled from the water at Narrabeen on Sydney's northern seashores this morning.
Police and paramedics had been known as to the scene at Turimetta Headland at round 11am after the person was reported to have fallen into the water.

The man – who was wearing a life vest – was winched from the water by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter but could not be saved.
