Seaplane crashes into water off Hamilton Island

Six individuals have survived a seaplane crash off Hamilton Island in Queensland.

The airplane crashed into the water close to Airport Drive about 12.54pm, a Queensland Ambulance spokesperson stated.

All occupants of the airplane managed to free themselves and aren't believed to have any accidents.
