Candidate for Narracan Shaun Gilchrist died unexpectedly over the weekend, the Nationals Get together confirmed in an announcement.
"It's with nice disappointment that the Liberals and Nationals at this time acknowledge the passing of Mr Shaun Gilchrist," the assertion reads.

Narrocan is a historically secure Liberal seat, positioned east of Melbourne in Victoria's La Trobe Valley.
