A man has been charged over the alleged stabbing of bodyboarding champion Ryan Duck on the New South WalesMid North Coast.
Duck was allegedly stabbed a number of occasions whereas seaside fishing at Tinonee, close to Forster, simply after midnight.
Cops and paramedics rushed to a vacation park on Pacific Palms and located the 35-year-old with a number of stab wounds to his arms and stomach.
Duck was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a vital situation.
He has since undergone surgical procedure.
Hours later, police arrested one other 35-year-old man at a warfare memorial.

"About 6am (Monday 28 November 2022), police arrested a 35-year-old man at a warfare memorial on The Lakes Method, roughly 5 kilometres from Forster-Tuncurry," police stated in an announcement.
"He was arrested and brought to Forster Police Station and charged with wound particular person with intent to trigger grievous bodily hurt.
"He was refused bail and is because of seem earlier than Taree Native Courtroom tomorrow."
Police established a criminal offense scene.
