Extremely bright meteor sparks calls to police in Norway

A dazzling sight illuminated a nonetheless Norwegian night time as an especially vibrant meteor known as a bolide streaked throughout the night time sky, flashing a number of colors.

The house rock was witnessed over the southwest of the nation on Saturday night time and prompted uncertain locals to name the authorities, to get readability on what they have been seeing.

Agder Police assured locals the sight was possible a meteor.

The Norwegian Meteorological Institute confirmed the meteor belongs to an annual bathe known as the Northern Taurids.

The incident comes a few months after a whole bunch of individuals throughout Scotland, Northern Eire and northern elements of England noticed an uncommon fireball lighting up the night time sky.

The fireball was seen within the sky for 10 to twenty seconds, which is a very long time for a meteor to be seen.
