A cleaner has died inside a Woolworths grocery store within the Newcastle suburb of Jesmond this morning.
Emergency providers responded to studies a workers member had been injured on the grocery store on Blue Gum Highway, about 7.30am immediately.
Paramedics went to the grocery store however discovered the girl had died on the scene.
NSW Police stated their preliminary investigation urged there have been no suspicious circumstances however revealed nothing else about her reason behind dying.
"Officers from Newcastle Police District have established against the law scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident," NSW Police stated.
A Woolworths spokesperson stated they had been offering help to the girl's household and group members.
"We're deeply saddened by this tragic incident and our ideas are with the girl's family members at this troublesome time," the spokesperson stated.
"We're aiding SafeWork NSW and NSW Police in addition to working with our contract cleansing accomplice."
The shop is at present closed whereas police conduct their investigation.
