Christine McVie, Fleetwood Mac singer and keyboardist, dies at 79

Christine McVie, who sang and performed keyboards for Fleetwood Mac, has died following a "quick sickness," her household confirmed. She was 79.

"She handed away peacefully at hospital this morning, Wednesday, November thirtieth 2022, following a brief sickness. She was within the firm of her household."

McVie, born Christine Good, joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970 after marrying the band's bassist, John McVie, and carried out with the group for almost 30 years earlier than leaving the band. 

In 1998, McVie was inducted to the Rock and Roll Corridor of Fame as a member of the group. 

Her former bandmates expressed their condolences, calling McVie a "one-of-a-kind" expertise.
