Aged care home apologises after Melbourne woman severely bruised

An aged care house in Melbourne has apologised after an 84-year-old girl with Alzheimer's illness was severely bruised from alleged misuse of a mattress hoist.
Anna Shearman was "horrified" when she noticed the bruising below the arms of her mom, Theano, after receiving a name from workers at Bupa Templestowe on November 5.
Shearman was informed the bruising was a results of remedy, however when she insisted on an investigation it was discovered the improper sling had been used to hoist the aged girl out and in of mattress.
