A pilot has carried out a tremendous emergency touchdown at an airport in South Australia after his small aircraft's touchdown gear grew to become caught.
Emergency crews have been on standby because the pilot made his nail-biting descent, after dozens of makes an attempt.
The pilot circled a number of instances as emergency crews and CFS doused the runway at Aldinga airstrip, south of Adelaide, in firefighting foam.

After lastly bringing the aircraft down, the pilot scrambled out, unscathed.
The alarm had been raised over an hour earlier, when the pilot of the Beechcraft Baron aircraft instructed these on the bottom he had no touchdown gear.
He started to circle, approaching the runway many times, solely to take off once more a number of instances.
At one stage, the small plane headed out over the water, probably to do away with a few of its gasoline and scale back the danger of fireside.
"He could be going by hell for the time being," stated one witness.
An hour and fifty minutes after he had first taken off, the aircraft got here in to land and made it efficiently.
The pilot was applauded for his dealing with of the emergency, and thanked responders.
