The mogul and philanthropist will settle for the prize on the group's fifteenth annual Nationwide Arts & Leisure Journalism Awards gala on Dec. 4.

The veteran host and Emmy Award-winning TV mogul has been chosen by the Los Angeles Press Membership to obtain a Luminary Award for Profession Achievement through the group’s fifteenth annual Nationwide Arts & Leisure Journalism Awards gala on Dec. 4. The trophy was created to honor “distinguished members of the leisure media group for his or her lifetime achievements and contributions to society,” per the org.
“As somebody with deep ties to the Los Angeles leisure media world, it’s an honor to obtain their Luminary Award,” provided Seacrest, on the heels of stories that he'll obtain the 2022 Nationwide Affiliation of Broadcasters’ Distinguished Service Award in New York on Oct. 19. “The Los Angeles Press Membership is among the oldest and most prestigious organizations linked to the leisure business and to hitch the record of iconic voices who've come earlier than me is so significant.”
Amongst Seacrest’s many ventures, he serves as host and producer of iHeartMedia’s 102.7 KIIS-FM’s morning program, the nationally syndicated On Air with Ryan Seacrest and American High 40 with Ryan Seacrest; he co-hosts and co-executive produces ABC’s Reside with Kelly and Ryan; he hosts ABC’s groundbreaking singing competitors American Idol; and he toplines the annual dwell broadcast of Dick Clark’s New Yr’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest.
As a philanthropist, he serves as chairman of the Ryan Seacrest Basis, a company that put in 10 broadcast media facilities in pediatric hospitals nationwide with two extra to open in 2023.
