Little Neck Clams with Juniper, Rose & Lime
by Erin French
Serves 4 as an appetizer, or 2 as a foremost course.

Elements:
1.5 lbs. littleneck clams within the shell (a couple of dozen or so clams)
6 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons white wine
1 Tablespoon dried juniper berries
2 teaspoons rose water
2 teaspoons garlic, minced

Directions:

  1. Rinse the clams in chilly water to take away any sand or grit.
