Former first woman Melania Trump introduced Wednesday that she is going to be a part of the Girls's Suffrage Nationwide Monument Basis, serving as an honorary chair alongside first woman Jill Biden and former first women Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton and others.
Trump tweeted that she was honored to assist "safe a monument on the Nationwide Mall of putting up with inspiration for ladies and future feminine leaders."
The Girls's Suffrage Nationwide Monument Basis was based in 2018. In December 2020, Congress enacted Public Regulation 116–217, which licensed the creation of the Each Phrase We Utter Monument and charged the inspiration with the monument's oversight.
