Man shot in the abdomen at Lithgow Hospital

A man has been shot at a hospital within the New South Wales Central Tablelands.

It is understood the person was shot within the stomach on the grounds of Lithgow Hospital round 11am.

He is presently in a steady situation and is being handled on the hospital.
