Man charged after he was shot by police in Sydney's east

A person has been charged after he was shot by police in Sydney's east earlier this week.
Police had been referred to as to Bunnerong Highway in Matraville simply earlier than 4.30pm on Wednesday after a person was reported allegedly attacking two ladies with a knife.
Police mentioned they discharged a taser on the man and fired one shot, which struck the person within the leg.

The 26-year-old Maroubra man has been charged with 5 offences, together with three counts of assaulting police.
