Former "SNL" star Chris Redd punched in front of NYC comedy club and taken to hospital

Comic Chris Redd was punched exterior of a comedy membership in New York Metropolis on Wednesday. The "Saturday Night time Stay" alum, who was on the present from 2017 to 2022, was taken to the hospital after the incident, the NYPD advised CBS Information.

Police say Redd, 37, was getting out of a automobile when he was approached by an unidentified male in entrance of the Comedy Cellar, a famend comedy membership within the metropolis's Greenwich Village.
