Two firefighters have been taken to hospital after battling a blaze that engulfed a manufacturing facility in Sydney's west.
The fireplace broke out at about 6.30am inside a constructing containing bookbinding tools on Clapham Street in Regents Park.
Included within the contents of the constructing had been blocks of highly-flammable magnesium.
Greater than 15 fireplace vehicles and 60 firefighters had been despatched to the scene.
Firefighters entered the constructing to substantiate no person was inside, however had been compelled to retreat after an explosion.
One firefighter suffered magnesium burns to his left forearm, and one other was handled for an elevated coronary heart fee.
Each had been taken to hospital, whereas a 3rd firefighter and a employee had been assessed on the scene however wanted no additional remedy.
