The brother of a Western Australian man shot lifeless by Queensland Police claims officers used "extreme power" after they fired 4 or 5 occasions on the 24-year-old.
Luke Gilbert was on an evening out in Airlie Seashore when he allegedly charged at authorities with a knife on Saturday.
Police say he was instructed to drop the weapon, and when he did not, authorities say the officers have been left with no different selection.
Luke's brother, Zac Gilbert, has shared his grief and outrage on social media.

Zac mentioned Luke was along with his girlfriend when he walked as much as two officers.
