Australia Put up has suspended all mail arriving by sea resulting from a rise in prohibited objects making their approach onto Australian shores.
The pause on sea mail started firstly of this month with hopes it might ease the backlog forward of Christmas.
The service does take longer than by airplane, however it's considerably cheaper and it is not recognized when the service will resume.
An Australia Put up spokesperson informed The Guardianhat they're within the "means of reviewing its sea mail capability".
