Sean Hayes to Star in ‘Good Night, Oscar’ on Broadway

Hayes stars as Oscar Levant in a brand new play analyzing the value of fame.


Sean Hayes will return to Broadway in a brand new play concerning the lifetime of actor and pianist Oscar Levant. 


In Good Evening, Oscar, written by Doug Wright, Hayes performs Levant, who's booked on Jack Paar’s The Tonight Present in a 90-minute session that delights viewers members, but additionally comes at a price for the star. 


Directed by Lisa Peterson, Good Evening, Oscar will play a 20-week engagement on the Belasco Theatre beginning April 7, 2023. Opening evening is about for April 24. The play involves Broadway after a premiere at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre.

The artistic staff consists of set design by Rachel Hauck, costume design by Emilio Sosa, lighting design by Ben Stanton andCarolina Ortiz Herrera, and sound design by Andre Pluess.
