Queen's grandchildren hold vigil at Westminster Hall

The Queen's eight grandchildren have held a vigil round her coffin because it lies in state at Westminster Corridor.
The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex each wore navy uniform, after Harry wore civilian garments throughout the procession of Queen Elizabeth II's coffin from Buckingham Palace.
He wore civilian garments as a result of he's now not a working member of the royal household. However his father, King Charles III, requested each William and Harry put on their navy uniforms at this vigil.
Prince Harry served in Afghanistan as a British military officer.

Prince William stood together with his head bowed on the head of the coffin. Prince Harry stood on the foot.
The remaining grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II - Princesses Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall, Peter Phillips, Girl Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn - wore black apparel.
The vigil is similar ceremony the Queen's kids held final night time, led by the King.
Among the grandchildren's mother and father watched on because the youthful members of the royal household payed their respects.

Prince Edward and his spouse Sophie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, stood on a balcony of Westminster Corridor and watched their kids, Girl Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, within the vigil.
Earlier at present, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie issued a joint assertion about their "beloved grannie".
"You had been our matriarch, our information, our loving hand on our backs main us by way of this world. You taught us a lot and we are going to cherish these classes and recollections without end," the royal sisters mentioned.

In a single day, volunteers distributed blankets and cups of tea to folks in line as temperatures fell to six levels Celsius. Regardless of the climate, mourners described the heat of a shared expertise.
"It was chilly in a single day, however we had fantastic companions, met new mates. The camaraderie was fantastic,'' Chris Harman of London mentioned.
"It was value it. I'd do it many times and once more. I'd stroll to the top of the earth for my queen."
