Two males have been arrested after an alleged housebreaking led to the offenders ramming a police automotive and biting an officer in Melbourne.
Officers responded to reviews of a housebreaking at a enterprise in Dandenong South round 3am this morning.
When police acquired to the premises, a Toyota Hiace van allegedly rammed into the police van on Langley Road.
"A brief scuffle has occurred between the 2 male offenders and two law enforcement officials, earlier than the offenders fled within the Hiace van," Victoria Police stated.
Police allege one of many officers was bitten on the arm and punched within the head a number of instances throughout the scuffle.
He was taken to hospital for remedy.
After fleeing the scene, the van collided with a Audi A3 on Alma Street, St Kilda East, round 7am.
