Nissan is recalling greater than 203,000 pickup vans within the U.S. as a result of they will roll away unexpectedly when shifted into park.
The recall covers Frontier and Titan pickups from the 2020 by 2023 mannequin years. Nissan says in paperwork posted Thursday by U.S. security regulators that house owners ought to use the parking brake each time they park their vans.
The corporate says a transmission parking pawl could not interact when the vans are shifted into park. The pawl stops the vans from shifting.
Nissan says it is not conscious of any crashes or accidents.
The corporate continues to be engaged on repairs for the automobiles. House owners will get letters beginning November 1, and so they'll be notified once more when repairs can be found.
Most of the similar vans had been recalled in June for a similar downside.
