A police officer has been hospitalised after a hit-and-run in Melbourne's south-east in a single day.
Police mentioned the officer was responding to an alarm at a college on Eel Race Highway in Seaford at round 3am when the car, which was driving within the college grounds, struck the officer.
The motive force then fled the scene.
The feminine officer was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.
Police at the moment are looking for the driving force of a white ute with a silver tray.
