Man faces court over deadly one-punch attack of former surfing champion Chris Davidson

A person stays in police custody after the dying of former browsing champion Chris Davidson who died after allegedly being punched outdoors a pub on the NSW mid north coast.
Police say they have been referred to as to Sportsmans Approach at South West Rocks simply after 11pm on Saturday following experiences a person had been punched within the face, fallen and hit his head on the pavement.
Officers discovered 45-year-old Davidson unconscious on the bottom.

He was handled on the scene by ambulance paramedics earlier than being taken to Kempsey Hospital, the place he died a short while later.
Police arrested a 42-year-old man at house in South West Rocks early on Sunday and charged him with assault inflicting dying.
He was refused bail and appeared in Port Macquarie Bail Courtroom on Sunday.
Davidson, who grew up browsing North Narrabeen on Sydney's northern seashores, competed on the world skilled browsing tour in 2010 and 2011.
