Elderly man critically injured in hit and run

An aged man is combating for all times after being left on the aspect of a Queensland street with damaged legs in a suspected hit and run.
The 77-year-old is believed to have been hit between 5 and 6am at Mount Rascal in south-east Queensland's Toowoomba area and left on the aspect of the street.
Hours later later he was found by a passing driver, who sounded the alarm about 7am.

The person was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital.(Google Maps)

He was critically injured with damaged legs and pelvic accidents.
Paramedics transported the person to Toowoomba Base Hospital.
He was then airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
Police are interesting to anybody who might have witnessed the accident on Freyling Highway, or who might have dashcam footage from across the space on the time of the accident to come back ahead.
