The rider was on his solution to work when he collided with an Uber driver about 5.30am this morning in South Brisbane.
Queensland Police Performing Inspector Simon Mortimer stated early investigations indicated the rider was not carrying a helmet.
"It is confronting when somebody is injured in a site visitors incident like this," he stated.
"We'd implore individuals on e-scooters or any kind of leisure system or bicycle to be carrying a helmet."
The rider was taken to the Princess Alexandra hospital with important head accidents.
