Cheetahs reintroduced in India after 70-year absence

After an almost 70-year absence, cheetahs have returned to India. Eight of the world's quickest land animals had been flown to central India from Namibia, Africa, on Saturday as a part of a mission titled "Undertaking Cheetah."

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi was there to welcome the cheetahs and to launch the primary one into the park. 

"An extended wait is over, the Cheetahs have a house in India on the Kuno Nationwide Park," the prime minister tweeted.
